Excessive, prolonged use of topical corticosteroids can suppress hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal function resulting in secondary adrenal insufficiency which is usually reversible. Healthcare professionals should be aware that if this product comes into contact with dressings, clothing and bedding, the fabric can be easily ignited with a naked flame and is a serious fire hazard. Patients should be warned of the risk of severe burns and advised not to smoke or go near naked flames when using this product. Long term continuous therapy should be avoided in all patients irrespective of age. Topical antihistamines should be applied at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Long-term use can increase the risk of side effects when taking oral antihistamines.

You should not use a large amount of lotion on large areas of the body for a long time . Treated areas on the face should not be covered with a bandage or plaster.
